What is Powder Coating?
Powder coating consists of a mixture of finely ground particles of pigments and resins that are sprayed (normally electrostatically) to a surface. It is then heated and fused into a smooth coating. It is an excellent alternative to liquid painting. Our powder coating system, which we call XTRA SHIELD ™, consists of a zinc rich epoxy primer and a topcoat of high quality polyester.
